The “Do More 24” Campaign starts on Wednesday, May 15th
Now in its 12th year, the #DoMore24 movement, powered by United Way of the National Capital Area, brings together several nonprofits in our region for one day of giving, awareness-building and celebration. This year, United Way NCA and participating Do More 24 nonprofits are on a mission to lift up our communities in need throughout the region. We will be one of those organizations, and we need your help!
Not only do we need your donation to the Sampson Scholarship and Educational Fund (SHSAA), we need your help to spread the word. Please tell your friends and family about our mission to help students pay for a college education and encourage everyone you know to donate.
Funds raised through Do More 24 will help us to provide scholarships to deserving students to help further their education; which we have been doing for 5o years! In addition to providing scholarships, we will continue to provide much needed school supplies to grade school students and college tours to middle school students; an opportunity and introduction to higher education institutions that these students may not otherwise be afforded.
