The “Do More 24” Campaign starts at noon on Wednesday, May 22nd
Do More 24 is an exciting 24-hour giving day, powered by United Way of the National Capital Area. Now in it’s 7th year, the Do More 24 movement brings together several nonprofits in the Washington DC area for one day of giving, awareness-building, and celebration. This will be the fourth year that the WMAC will participate in this campaign, which has been very successful for our organization. We are hoping to do better this year but we can’t do it without you!
Not only do we need your donation to the Sampson Scholarship and Educational Fund (SHSAA), we need your help to spread the word. Please tell your friends and family about our mission to help students pay for a college education and encourage everyone you know to donate.
Funds raised through Do More 24 will help us to provide scholarships to deserving students to help further their education; which we have been doing for over 45 years. In addition to providing scholarships, we will continue to provide much needed school supplies to grade school students and college tours to middle school students. This year our goal is to increase the number of students that are able to attend the college tour; an opportunity and introduction to higher education institutions that these students may not otherwise be afforded.
Here’s how you can get ready to give:
