Each year a different SHSAA chapter hosts the annual reunion, usually during the second weekend in August. These gatherings are normally social in nature and end on the evening of the final full-day with a dinner banquet/dance. During the banquets, chapter donations are presented and scholarships are awarded to the recipients for that year.
General Membership Meeting
A General Membership Meeting is conducted on morning of the final full-day of each reunion. During this meeting:
- The Executive Board presents reports covering activities of the past year.
- The President addresses the members on the status of the Association.
- The next reunion site is selected.
