The Sampson High Alumni Association is a rapidly growing organization in our community and the historical legacy of the school is being spread. It was the first Black high school in Sampson County, North Carolina to serve the entire county. It was recently identified as a historical Rosenwald School and we are eager to preserve this legacy.
Over the years, we have developed quite a reputation for a strong commitment to providing scholarships to deserving young men and women in pursuit of a higher education. However, you may or may not be aware that the roof of Sampson High School Complex is in desperate need of replacement. One section alone – the cafeteria portion – is estimated to cost over $25,000. Our goal is to raise these funds over the next ten months so the work can be finished as soon as possible.
Your generous donation will help us replace our roof and also preserve an important legacy to our community. We need the support of our members, as well as the generosity of community businesses and individuals to help us reach our goal. Your ongoing support of the Sampson High School Alumni Association is deeply appreciated.
Your donation is tax deductible and we will provide a tax receipt for all donations immediately after receiving a donation.
