Support the SHSAA with your Amazon purchases!

A perfect way to support the organization while you shop!

The AmazonSmile program, operated by Amazon, allows you to support the SHSAA while you shop! Just go to  smile.amazon.com instead of the normal Amazon site, choose "SAMPSON HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, INC" as your charitable organization, and start shopping.   Amazon will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the SHSAA!

This link will take you directly to AmazonSmile in support of SHSAA: https://smile.amazon.com/ch/51-0156294. Be sure to bookmark it for the future! Once you have chosen your charity, Amazon will remember this for future visits; you do not need to select your charity each time you shop. However, you DO need to begin your shopping session by entering Amazon through smile.amazon.com.

When you check out, on your Order Summary screen, there will be a confirmation that your order is benefiting SAMPSON HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, INC.

NOTE: You must access your Amazon or Amazon Prime account through the AmazonSmile link EVERY TIME you place an order for the SHSAA to receive the 0.5% donation.

Helpful Tip:  Already have a cart full of items at amazon.com but forgot to start shopping at AmazonSmile? No problem. With your items in the cart, simply type smile.amazon.com in your browser’s address bar and hit enter. No need to empty your cart and start over!

In a nutshell….. Here’s how to sign up for AmazonSmile:

1. Visit smile.amazon.com.

2. Sign in with your Amazon.com username and password

3. Choose a charitable organization to receive donations, or search for the charity of your choice

4. Select your charity (SAMPSON HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, INC). Note: There are several SHSAA's listed.  You must choose Riverdale, MD - Incorporation Year 1975 in order for the organization to receive the funds.

6. Add a bookmark for smile.amazon.com to make it even easier to return and start your shopping at AmazonSmile

Turn on AmazonSmile in the Amazon Shopping App:

1.Make sure you’re signed up for AmazonSmile already (use your web browser to visit smile.amazon.com)

2. Download or update to the latest version of the Amazon Shopping app for iOS or Android

3. Open the app and find “Settings” in the main menu (☰)

4. Tap on “AmazonSmile” and follow the on-screen instructions to turn on AmazonSmile in the app.
